Scheduling is an important feature in the building automation industry, where cost savings through optimized energy usage is a key factor. When used for example in a process plant, the Scheduler can be used to run certain equipment at periods with low electricity costs or run maintenance machinery during scheduled maintenance.
For example, the Scheduler ensures that after working hours, heating and lighting are automatically switched off and room temperatures are lowered. Also, with configured "special days", the Scheduler can automatically control certain parts of your building during holidays or other irregular events.
The Scheduler is extremely easy to configure due to its calendar based user interface. A preset control schedule can be configured during project development, and if required this schedule can be changed by managers or operators during runtime.
The Scheduler user interface allows easy access to configured programs and calendar based events.
