What is Citect's Customer Excellence Awards Program?
As a leading provider of automation and process improvement solutions, Citect’s annual Customer Excellence Awards Program recognizes and rewards individuals and organizations that have achieved excellence in the application of Citect technologies.

Regional and Global Award Categories
Awards will be presented for each of the following categories on a regional (Oceania, Africa, Americas, Asia and Europe) and global basis.
Environmental Management Award
For outstanding achievement in environmental management, such as reduction in emissions, waste or energy consumption or improving the quality of the environment as a result of implementing a Citect solution. Eg, implementing CitectSCADA Reports may have signifi cantly reduced gaseous emissions as a result of being able to store emissions readings and being able to track trends or transgressions in real-time.
Best Practice in Innovation Award
For demonstrating innovative techniques and processes in the implementation and deployment of a Citect solution across an organization. Eg, innovative use of CitectSCADA in an automation application, or of Ampla to improve production processes.
Best Return on Investment (ROI) Award
For the best measurable ROI as a result of implementing a Citect solution, such as financial return or percentage increase in productivity, yield, efficiency, quality, or uptime performance across an organization’s site, part of a site or multiple sites. Eg, as a result of using Ampla Downtime’s multi-level redundancy, a plant system’s uptime may have increased by 25%.
Special Recognition Awards
Entries for the above three categories may be eligible for a Special Recognition Award. These awards will be judged by Industry Sector.
Who is eligible for an Excellence Award?
All Citect End Users and Integration Partners are eligible to submit an application nominating their organization for an Excellence Award in one or more categories, based on the implementation of a Citect solution at an End User site or sites.
What are the submission dates?
The 2006 awards are being officially launched on Tuesday 22 November 2005 and will be promoted at Citect events in 2005 and 2006. Applications will be accepted until 3rd March 2006.
How will award winners be selected?
Each application will be reviewed by a panel of judges drawn from Citect representatives, past winners and partners. The awards are separated into categories. Judges will focus on the establishment of new benchmarks for efficiency and effectiveness in the design and implementation of Citect solution related business practices.
When will the award winners be announced?
Regional winners will be notified in March 2006. All winning applications will be automatically entered for the Global award for the same category, which will be announced at the end of March 2006. Where possible, awards will be presented at regional Citect Events.
What do the award winning organizations receive?
Regional and Special Recognition Awards
To recognize their achievement in excellence, all winners will receive:
- An engraved crystal trophy to remind the entire organization of your achievements
- A customer profile documenting your organization’s achievements
- Citect’s PR support in generating media coverage for your organization’s award
- Automatic entry into the global award for that category
Global Awards
- All prizes mentioned above, plus
- Complimentary registration, travel and accommodation to the Inaugural Citect International User Conference in May 2006
